Description: Weston-super-Mare's Coalbrookdale Fountain, which is also known as the Boy and Serpent has been a feature on the seafront since at least 1905. The fountain has been fairly recently cleaned, repaired and restored by Dorothea Restorations. The newly-restored ornamental fountain at Pier Square, Weston-super-Mare, was switched on by Mary Macfarlane on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Mary is the great-granddaughter of Thomas Macfarlane, who donated the fountain to the town in 1913.<br /> <br /> Information thanks to Steven Harrison.
