Out of Order – A recent survey by Children Food Campaign Charity showed that a great majority of drinking fountains in public parks are not working, with just 11% of parks having fountains and only 8% of these worked. We expect to cut down on bottled water and the technology for good drinking water fountains is freely available – so come on you local authorities, how about helping to reduce the number of plastic bottles laying about the park areas by installing modern drinking fountains which are child friendly!
Kirklees
The staining work of the cascade wall is another matter as it involves the use of pink Chinese granite and appears resistant to jet washing.
